A thousand years have passed since Yuna defeated Sin -- long, routine years for every child, man, or woman of Spira. The thing is, Yuna didn't actually go inside Sin and destroy him from within -- no, she followed the path every summoner before her took, and so she completed her duty, her purpose as a summoner by calling forth the final aeon and destroying Sin. But until Spira atones for its sins, the fiend will always return and destroy loved ones and homes and everything that ever truly mattered to the people of all races. Will the world ever atone for its wrong-doing?
